Like many companies, who are lucky enough to make a difference with an idea, The VIP Group was inspired by a sad truth one day that we all now see and hear about every day of our lives. Distracted driving is now the most common issue on our roads today and is currently the number one killer of North American teens. While over 90% of teen drivers say they don’t drink and drive, nine out of 10 say they’ve seen drivers using cell phones and affected by other obvious distractions.
To help us achieve our goal we have created a series of car safety products designed to warn drivers. These passive reminders are both decorative and useful. To compliment our initiative we’ve also developed an app that allows the user to actively block messages and calls from distracting them while they are driving.
